In 2003 I had never - ever - ridden a motorbike but I found
myself asking myself the question "if I bought a motorbike, what
would it be"?... Well a Ducati is a "2 wheel Ferrari" but
they are easier to afford! and there's a Senna model of the iconic
916 commemorating my favourite driver of all time.... No
Brainer!!
I bought Senna Mk1 Number 119 early that year - a 1000cc
superbike as your 1st bike - that's ok isn't it?
The photos to the right are more recent (from 2006) but the one
above was taken on the day she first arrived back at my house - Ok,
I couldn't ride her to start with -so I kept her in the
living room! (pictures below) and I passed my full test and
have been riding here since 2004
955 big bore & titanium rods
Full 52mm exhaust system
Termignoni carbon cans
Marchesini 5 spoke wheels
Full carbon air box, air tubes, hugger/chain guard, plate holder, clutch cover, radiator/oil cooler cover, rear undertray, exhaust guard, master cylinder covers, yoke cover
Smoke double bubble screen
Oh yeah - it's always good when ya get ya hands on
the owners manual :-)
Gorgeous new dials I had made up my SuperDials.com (now defunct)
with Senna double SS and No 119
Very bad winds in early 2007! resulting in the bike needing a
clutch repair.... I can do that

the 916 Senna
This is actually a scan from Grand Prix Legends catalogue from
about 1996, when the bike was very new - click for full add with original
price!!
I did subsequently buy this model on eBay too - looks pretty real,
huh )with actual number plate :-)
The day I bought the bike again - followed by
the famous "in living room" shots!
Yep - like I said - She was kept beautifully
clean an dry in my living room in 2003, while I did some minor
repair work and mods - Sure sounded good when I started the
engine up in here!! :-)
